We were founded in 1995 and established our HQ office in Dubai. Since then, we tried our best to fill in a certain need in the market by partnering with various vendors and supplying our customers with quality products.

Client Highlights

SAKS 5th Avenue

A luxurious place to shop for luxurious fashion, from hats to shoes, handbags to luggage, hair care to foot care. SAKS have been there since 1924 with their flagship opening, and still going strong.

In Dubai, SAKS has assigned a project to us. Connecting 500 points of access using Layer3 switches and routers, implementing IP telephony over those, and finally securing the whole place with Gantner access control.

In addition to that, SAKS required surveillance that had to be accessible over the internet. Axis cameras were the perfect solution for such a situation, especially that they're very extensible.

The cameras can be connected to centralized alarm systems at anytime, send emails or SMS messages when they detect motion at a time where motion is unexpected, record from pre and post events, and in extreme cases, it's possible to make them ring an IP telephone.

Dubai Municipality

We tend to classify our projects by the usefulness of their outcome rather than by their cost or importance.

From the many projects we completed with Dubai Municipality, we think street cams was the most interesting (although, not necessarily the most difficult to implement).

Dubai Municipality need to monitor the streets and provide a video feed on the internet as an added-value service. The feeds didn't need to be real-time, since it's mostly a service for those trying to go out on the street at rush hours.

They already owned a number of CCTV cameras, it was a waste to throw them away in favor of IP cameras. Granted, IP cameras do have their advantages, but sometimes the cost of switching is too high to be of any benefit.

So in order to minimize the costs, we used Axis video servers that connect to existing cameras and convert their analog video feed to digital and transmit it over an IP network.

We feel it's best to explain this way.

Work at NIT can be a little, well, different. We're not an enterprise corporate, we're not a sub-company, and we do our business our way. “One big family” is perhaps the closest to what describes us.

NIT is a work place where people always go that extra mile, always willing to fix it when it's broken. Marketing speech is completely meaningless to us, since no matter what the “Careers” page says, it's impossible to motivate a person without his and her help.
